Don't settle for budget half-baked ECU "refurbish" services that don't offer even half the services/value/experience we do! Those "OTHER" companies charge more and offer LESS for what you get!

Our ecu refurbish service takes your ecu:

• Inspect/Tests for bad components and ensures full functionality
• Replace ALL capacitors regardless of their status
• We replace all the electrolytic capacitors on the board which due to the age of this generation of ECUs is the main cause of any failures that sometimes end up completely destroying the ECU circuit boards if not replaced. They end up leaking a fluid that damages the circuit board, or possibly even burning up and burning holes in the board when they fail which most of the time renders the board/ECU unusable without major modifications/repairs.
• Fully Refurbish board/Connections:
  • This service includes stripping the circuit board of all protective coating and any corrosion on all the connections before doing our work
  • Completing the chipping process and making sure all the soldering is up to good specifications (no cold or cracking solder joints, lifted pads/traces, etc)
  • Repair leaky cap areas
    • Fix blown out or corroded traces/connections
    • Neutralize any leakage areas
• Perform any maintenance/repairs or upgrades to ECU requested (general quick 1-2 easy repairs included in base price) additional diagnosis and repairs +$25/hr repair charge.
• We then clean again
• and finally, we re coat both sides of the board with OEM Grade Protective coating and cure boards to ensure a level of moisture protection as good or better than factory when NEW!

And the final thing -- Your ECU is now covered with our 1 year WARRANTY!

How the process works: 

1. You place the order for this service
2. Once someone processes your order you will be sent the mailing address, you need to include your order number in the box.
3. If you chose a prepaid shipping label, again... someone has to process your order for it to get sent to you.
4. Please do not email asking for the address or shipping label, they will come once the order is processed on our end *(those tasks are not automated)
5. Once we receive your ECU we check it in, and mark it as received: You will receive an email when this happens.
6. The boxes are not opened until the day they hit the bench to be worked on.
7. Your ecu will likely hit the bench towards the end of the current "turn around time" listed towards the bottom of the page (its live updated based off our current work load).
8. Once your ecu is on the bench is inspected and work begins, if anything is needed we will contact you. If nothing is needed we will perform the work and get it fully tested and on its way back to you ASAP!
9. Once shipped you will be emailed tracking information.
10. Enjoy your repaired or refurbished ECU!

Optional Services:

• Custom Powder coated ECU case/frame( OPTIONAL ): We strip down the frame and covers of the ECU and professionally powder coat them (Black, white, Sour Apple Green, chrome, metallic blue all IN STOCK) other colors would be additional charge for non stocked color, just send email after order and we can send you color options based off what general color you are looking for.

 Note: any powder coating cases/covers may increase turn around time by 1-2 days depending on work load.
